Mobile makeup artist in Melbourne
A makeup artist that comes to your house, your hotel room or your venue. My studio is in Middle Park and I travel across Greater Melbourne, from the bay side and the inner south out to the Mornington Peninsula, the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges.
Getting ready is easier where you already are, so I work as a mobile makeup artist and come to you. You are not driving anywhere with your dress in the back seat, you are not watching the clock in a car park, and the people getting ready with you stay in one room instead of splitting into shifts. I bring the salon to that room.
Everything comes with me: a full professional kit, my own lighting, a director chair, brushes sanitised between clients, and enough product range to cover every skin tone in the group without sending anyone away with a shade that is not theirs. What I need from you is small: a space near a window if there is one, a power point within reach, and room for a chair.

Early starts, and how your time is worked out
A mobile makeup artist is only useful if she arrives when your morning actually starts. I leave early in the morning, as early as your morning requires, and five in the morning is a normal starting hour here. That is what makes a distant venue possible without anyone paying for a hotel room.
Two things set your start time: the hour the group has to be ready, and the number of people. Send me those and the arrival time comes back to you. For larger groups I work with assistants, included in what you are quoted. It is there for your comfort more than mine: nobody is rushed through to catch up, and everyone gets the look they actually asked for. It also lifts the ceiling on how many of you I can take in one morning, well past what the booking calendar suggests, so send me the number and I will tell you what is possible.
What travel costs
- $1 per kilometre driven. Because I drive out and back, that works out at $2 for every kilometre between us, and $10 is the smallest travel figure on any booking.
- A booking 50km from the studio is $100. Confirmed before you book, never added afterwards.
- Distant locations from three or four services. For the Mornington Peninsula, the Yarra Valley and similar distances I take bookings from three or four services rather than one.
Full prices for every service are on the pricing page, and travel sits on top of them as its own line. If any of it is confusing, send an enquiry or just write to me and I will work it out for your address.
Mobile hair and makeup in Melbourne
Makeup and hair can be booked separately or as one appointment, whichever suits you. Taken together they run on time, because nobody is waiting on a separately booked artist and the two are planned around each other rather than fighting. If your hair is going up, I plan the makeup around it, and if the veil is coming off at the reception I plan for that too.
Styling covers soft curls and waves, Hollywood waves, braids, half up and pinned updos, for medium, long and extra long hair. Prices by hair length are on the hair styling page.
Mobile brows and lashes, Mondays and Tuesdays
Brow lamination, brow sculpting and lash lifts travel too, and they have their own easy days. Mondays and Tuesdays are the usual brow and lash days, which keeps those visits on one route, and other days are possible as well. On those two brows and lashes carry no separate travel fee at all, unlike makeup and hair.
What comes to you: brow sculpting, brow lamination, henna and tint, lash lift, lash tint and face waxing. A visit usually adds up to three services, or two if they are brow lamination or lash lifts: three people having one thing each, or one person having three at once, say brow lamination with a lash tint, or a lash lift with a brow tint and a wax. For a single service it is cheaper to come to the studio in Middle Park, which is a walk from Albert Park and minutes from South Melbourne.
Prices for both, at the studio and mobile, are on the brows and lashes page.
Where I travel
The studio is in Middle Park, so Albert Park, South Melbourne, Port Melbourne, St Kilda, Elwood, Southbank and the CBD are minutes away and the travel fee on them is small. Across the bay side and the inner south, through Brighton, Hampton, Sandringham, South Yarra, Toorak, Armadale and Malvern, it stays modest.
It becomes a real line on the quote for the Mornington Peninsula, the Yarra Valley, the Dandenong Ranges, Geelong and Daylesford, which is why those bookings have a minimum of three or four services. If your location is not named here, ask anyway. For a good booking I will travel, and that is what being a mobile makeup artist in Melbourne means in practice.
The studio in Middle Park takes single bookings, and studio prices are lower. I also come to you for a single booking, with travel charged by distance. How far that goes is your call rather than mine: most bookings are around Melbourne, and if you want me somewhere further, interstate or overseas included, that is arranged individually rather than ruled out, and priced the same way, on what the trip and the work actually take.
Book a mobile booking
Tell me the date, the address I come to, and how many people are being done, and I will come back with a start time and the travel fee before anything is confirmed.
Online booking is for the studio in Middle Park. For a mobile booking, send an enquiry instead: travel time is planned by hand, and the start time and travel fee are confirmed first.
