Brows, lashes, hair and makeup in Albert Park and South Melbourne
A private brow and lash studio on Patterson Street, right on the Albert Park and Middle Park border, five minutes from South Melbourne. Brows, lashes, makeup and hair from one room, one appointment at a time, no salon floor and no waiting room.
Brows and lashes are the appointments you keep, not the ones you book once. A lash lift holds six to ten weeks. Laminated brows sit for about the same. A tint fades sooner than either. That rhythm is the reason distance matters more here than for anything else I do: when the studio is a walk away you keep the cycle, and when it is across town you skip one, then two, and start again from bare brows.
So this page is for the three suburbs where that walk is short. Albert Park, where most addresses are within ten minutes on foot. Middle Park, where the studio actually sits. And South Melbourne, five minutes by car or two stops on the 96.
Brows and lashes are what most people book here first, because they repeat. Makeup and hair are done from the same studio, and for an event I can come to your address instead. Both are further down this page.

What gets booked here
Brow lamination. Brow hairs are softened and reset so they stay brushed up in the direction they are pointed. It suits brows that grow downward or sideways, and it makes a thin brow read as much fuller without a single hair being added. The process itself can lift the hairs a shade lighter, so tint, treatment and aftercare are part of the appointment rather than extras sold on top. From $110 at the studio.
Brow sculpt. Shape first, colour second. The shape is mapped to your face, your bone structure and how you actually wear your hair, not to whatever brow is fashionable this year. Then colour, henna or tint. Both take on the hair and the skin underneath it, and which one suits is decided by your skin and by how bold you want to go. From $65 at the studio, and a tidy up between shapes is $35.
Lash lift. Your own lashes curled from the root and held there, with tint and a treatment included. No extensions to fill, nothing to fall out unevenly, and no daily curler. From $120 at the studio, and it holds six to ten weeks.
Studio prices. Mobile is five to ten dollars more per service, and the full list for both is on the brows and lashes page.
Tints, henna and face waxing. The small things that keep the rest looking finished between the bigger appointments. A lash tint is $25, a brow tint $35, face waxing from $20.
Albert Park
Most of Albert Park is a walk from the studio: Bridport Street about ten minutes, the terraces off Kerferd Road less, the lake side a little more. That is close enough to come on foot on a weekday morning and be back before the parking meter would have mattered.
One local note. During the Grand Prix the roads around the lake close and the whole suburb slows down for a week, so if your lift or lamination falls due in that window, move it a few days either side rather than fighting the traffic.
Middle Park
The studio is here, at 72 Patterson St. For Middle Park that means the shortest possible version of everything: no parking hunt, and single services at studio prices rather than mobile ones.
It is a private studio in a residential street, so there is one client at a time. Single brow or lash services are normally done here rather than on the road, because a twenty five dollar appointment across the city has to be priced on its own terms. If you want one at your address anyway, write to me and I will quote it for you.
South Melbourne
South Melbourne is five minutes by car and two stops on the 96, which makes it easy to attach an appointment to something you were doing anyway: the market on a Saturday, Clarendon Street, or the offices around Coventry and Park Street on a weekday.
Brows and lashes suit that kind of trip better than makeup does. Half an hour to forty five minutes, no drying time, nothing that stops you going straight back to work or straight on to lunch.
Hair and makeup in Albert Park and South Melbourne
The same studio does makeup and hair styling, and for anything with a start time attached I can come to your address instead. What gets booked around here tends to be the local calendar rather than weddings: a lunch that turns into an evening, an engagement party at one of the lake pavilions, a school formal, a birthday in town, a portrait session. Makeup ranges from soft and barely there to full glam, and hair is done in the same visit rather than by a second person you have to arrange separately. If you are having brows or lashes done in the same week as an event, book them at least a few days before rather than the day of, so everything has settled by the time the photographs start. Prices for every service are on the pricing page, hair by length is on the hair styling page, and there are galleries for natural, glam and bridal work.
If you would rather I came to you
Brows and lashes do travel. Mobile brow and lash visits happen on any day, and Mondays and Tuesdays carry no separate travel fee. A visit usually adds up to three services booked together, and on brow lamination and lash lifts two are enough. That can be one person stacking them, lamination plus a lash tint plus a wax in one sitting, or three people each taking a single thing while the others wait.
Makeup and hair travel on any day, and there the fee is $1 per kilometre driven, which across these three suburbs comes to a few dollars. How the rest of it works is on the mobile service page.
Book brows or lashes
Prices for every service, at the studio and mobile, are on the brows and lashes page. If you are not sure whether you want lamination or a sculpt, send me a photo of your brows without makeup and tell me what you would like to change, and I will tell you which one does it.
Online booking is for the studio in Middle Park. For a mobile booking, send an enquiry instead: travel time is planned by hand, and the start time and travel fee are confirmed first.
